About Us
Melmerby Village Hall is a modern building completed in 2003 and officially opened in February 2004 by HRH The Prince of Wales.
It is designed for multi-functional uses and as such is equipped to a high standard. There is full disabled access throughout. The village hall holds a full premises license and details of the conditions for license use are available on request.

- Main Hall: accommodates 110 seated or 210 standing with modular staging available. Really good acoustics so great for music and theatre.
- Small Meeting Room: accommodates 16 - ideal for small groups or in conjunction with the main hall.
- Front Reception: large with comfortable chairs and can also be used for small informal gatherings. A great display or greating area.
- Kitchen: equipped to full catering standard in stainless steel with microwave, fridge, range style gas oven & hob and catering dishwasher.
- Equipment: fully equipped to cater for up to 110 people seated.
- Toilets: facilities are of a high standard including a shower in the disabled facility.
- Parking: spaces for 24 cars at the front of the hall with further spaces at the rear. Further parking in the village.
- Play Area: play area for young children at the rear of the hall and a lawned garden area with outdoor seating.
